VBA example to cut/paste .txt files to multiple worksheets.
Can anyone direct me to a source (if you don't know an
easy way to do this) where I can get an example of a code snippet to use in Excel 2000, that will cut/paste the contents of x,y,z,... .txt files in a specified folder; to sheet1,sheet2,sheet3... in a single workbook? I am not a programmer, just trying to save some time with a repetitive task. Any help as always is much appreciated, this forum is superb for information and feedback ! Thanks |

John,
I have macros that open text files and turn them into Excel files. (These Excel files can be temporary or permanent) Other code to paste from one workbook into another. Like you, these are repetative tasks needed each month and the macros make it a snap. If you would like, send me an email with more detail of what you want and I'll put together a workbook with some code. Than we can work together to get it just like you want. -- sb "johnmo" wrote in message ...
