all going?

The Microsoft site is he

Has anyone tried this thing?

Any thoughts on this one? Experiences?

Visual Studio for Office ??

Hi Damir

Well, it "the next generation" as stated. .NET is a lot about managed code and about XML.
I have only seen it very briefly, it accesses Office's object model and let you use those
+ VS's components for Office applications/addins. Like COM addins when it comes to
creating them, I think.

For us elderly VB6/VBA-users there is a learning curve, and I believe the backwards
compatibility for Office versions is between one and none. As in every "the next
generation" I guess. If you have VS.NET background then I bet it's nothing but great.
