Making executable files
Thanks for the reply. Is there any program (other then
Visual Basic)or add in that can do it? -----Original Message----- "Alexander" wrote in message ... Does anybody know how to create an executable file (.exe or .com) from an Excel file (.xls)? What program do I need? Thanks Hi Alexander, It's not possible to do this with an Excel workbook. If this is an Excel application, the user must have Excel installed in order to run it. There's no run-time version of Excel like there is with Access. If you just have a workbook that you want to protect from modifications, I'd recommend creating a .pdf file from it. -- Rob Bovey, MCSE, MCSD, Excel MVP Application Professionals http://www.appspro.com/ * Please post all replies to this newsgroup * * I delete all unsolicited e-mail responses * . |
