Excel 9 XML file open
Is it possible to have XML files open in Excel Version 9.
If so what do they need to install to make it work. Will SP3 for Office 2000 do it? We are developing a solution that uses XML as an export method and we need to know the minimum requirements for Office to open it in Excel. Chris |

Is this what you want:
Microsoft Office 2000 supports HTML/XML as a native file format. The documentation is provided on the MSDN under "Microsoft Office HTML and XML Reference." You can find this at the following Web site: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en...ml/ofxml2k.asp -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Chris" wrote in message ... I am sorry let me reword it.
I am trying to find the minimum version of Excel that will open an XML Document so that I can publish that as a requirement on the application. Is Office 2000 v.10 the minimum or is v.9, etc. Chris -----Original Message----- Is this what you want: Microsoft Office 2000 supports HTML/XML as a native file format.
