Reading a VBA constant value by an outsider macro?
 

If the project is not locked, look at

for how to use code to work with code (you should be able to read your
constant by reading the lines of code in the code module).

However, if you don't lock you code, then anyone can go into your code
module and read the constant.

Maybe you could create a custom document property that holds an
encoded/scrambled version of the password and provide the code to
unencode/unscramble it.

Just note that creating a reference to a workbook causes that workbook to
open when you open the referencing workbook. If you close the referencing
workbook, the reference workbook doesn't close automatically and it can't be
closed while the referencing workbook is still open.
