Excel 2000 Windows VBA vs. Mac Excel 2001 VBA
Hi Sue
Excel 2000 Windows was the first one to use VB6 as its VBA language, while I believe Mac still use VB5. So everything new in VB6 won't work on a Mac, like string functions split, join, replace and instrrev. I never used VB5 for real, so I can't provide extensive detail on this. "Most things will work fine" may or may not be a comfort, the languages are 99% identical. A test run on Windows Excel 97 (also VB5) is a good indicator if you don't have a Mac at hand during development. -- HTH. Best wishes Harald Excel MVP Followup to newsgroup only please.
