hyperlink to an Excel file
I have two end users, both with IE 6.0 and Excel 97.
the problem i am having is the behavior of how IE opens an Excel file from a link, the HTML's A tag, it looks like http:\\servername\ex\excelfile.xls one station will open with the Excel application by it self while the other will open the Excel within the browser, which doesn't open my add-in that i put on the end-users machine. can someone tell me what caused the different behavior and how can i change the settings? TIA matt |
