Weird template/macro behavior ??
If it is a command button, pressing the button executes the click event for
the command button. These events are not listed in Tools=Macro=Macros because they are marked as Private Private Commandbutton1_Click() end Sub You can get to the code, by right clicking on the sheet tab where the button is located and choosing view code. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "David" wrote in message ... Here is my situation: I have an XLT template. When I open it there are no macros listed in Tools--Macros--Macros. However, when I save it as an XLS, I can press my command button and the macro runs. The only place I can find the macro is in another XLS file in the same folder. Somehow my template is referring to the macro in another XLS file and this reference gets carried over when I save an XLS based on the template. I have no idea how this happened but how do I fix it and prevent it from happening again. I'm using Win 2000 and Excel 2000. - David |
