Add-in udf
I've a spreadsheet that use functions in an add-in;
however, if I open it from Access vba it complains that there are function links with another file and the cells are showing #NAME# even I response with updating the links. If I open the spreadsheet by hand everything's fine. Anyone has idea what I can do to solve the problem? |
Add-in udf
Hi Barry,
What kind of add-in are you talking about. Is it an Excel workbook you created, an add-in that comes with Excel, or something else? A better solution might be to simply use xlApp.Workbooks.Open to directly open the add-in file instead of using the AddIns.Installed method. -- Rob Bovey, MCSE, MCSD, Excel MVP Application Professionals http://www.appspro.com/ * Please post all replies to this newsgroup * * I delete all unsolicited e-mail responses * "Barry" wrote in message ... Hi Rob, Thanks for your reply. I know about the setting of the installed property and I tried it but still in vain. I checked the Add-ins dialog box and saw the checkbox for my add-in can be on or off by the value of true or false respectively for the installed property. When I clicked the Edit Links button on the Update Links dialog box I saw my add-in's status was "Undefined or non-rectangular name", is there anything wrong with my add-in? However, if I opened my spreadsheet manually with the add- in checked, I saw the "Source open" status. Barry |
