Changing just one column
Format / Conditional Formatting should do it. Do you want the whole column to turn red if a
certain number anywhere is greater than .5, or do you want each cell in that column to turn red if the number in it is greater than .5 -- Regards Ken....................... I have a spreadsheet that I would like just one column to change color to red if the number in the column is greater than .5 otherwise I don't want anything to happen. I assume that this would be a VB coding issue. Thx Dan |
Changing just one column
Each cell should change if the condition is meet.
Preferably just the number and not the cell. Dan -----Original Message----- Format / Conditional Formatting should do it. Changing just one column
Select the column in question, do Format / Conditional formatting / Choose 'Cell Value is'
'Greater Than' 0.5 Then click on the format button, and either change the font if you want the text to turn a different colour, or hit the patterns tab if you want to change the cell to a different colour when the condition is met. -- Regards Ken.......................
