Installing Invoice sample

I am going to install Invoice spreadsheet sample provided
with Excel 2000.I want to install it and customize it for
our office use.I greatly appriciate your help to find some
resources on that topic on the net.
(I need help on sharing invoice database on network and
generaing an invoice number)
