AutoFill KILL
There is a little icon that appears in my spreadsheet when I use the drag handle feature in XP. It is called "Auto Fill Options" and it looks like a little t-square with a plus sign. How in h*** do you turn this d*** thing off? It gets in the way when I'm working and of course help is completely useless. It tells you all about it EXCEPT how to turn it off. I want to keep drag and drop enabled... Thanks for your help, if its possible... |
AutoFill KILL
Do this in MS Excel:
1. In 'Tools' menu, select 'Options' command. It appears the 'Options' dialog box. 2. Click 'Edit' tab. 3. Disable the 'Allow cell drag and drop' check box. 4. Click 'OK' button. That's all. I hope this helps you. -----Original Message----- There is a little icon that appears in my spreadsheet when I use the drag handle feature in XP.
