Date maniputation question
I have a workbook with two worksheets on it (call them sheet1 and sheet2).
cell G5 has a weekending (Saturday) date, and columns C10 through G16 have numeric data. Rows 10 through 16 are days of the week (Sunday through Saturday). I'm trying to do the following but not having much luck so far: On sheet1, if a number 0 is entered in any cell in the range(C10:C16) then calculate the date from the row number by accessing the week ending date in G5. For example, if the week ending date was 06/07/03, then Monday's date would be 06/07/03 - 5 days = 06/02/03. Do the same for all cells in the range C10:G16. Then I need to transfer the calculated date(s), and number(s) entered to sheet2. For example, the number 8 is entered into cell C11. The date is calculated to be 06/02/03. Transfer that date to the first empty cell in column A in sheet2, and transfer the 8 to the corresponding cell in sheet2, column B. Do this for all numeric data entered into the range C10:G16. I thought this was going to be easy when I first started it, but nothing seems to work the way I want it to. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks. TB |
