Hi,
I made a worksheet with some macros (in Excel 97) that properly works on my PC (no matter the excel version I use to open it), but when I send it by mail to a customer, he can open it, but macros doesn't work on his PC. Before sending the file, I protected the macros with a password. He has a Excel 2000 installed, with a LOW level of protection. The message he got is something like: "The macro XXX does not exist". It seems like macros disappered on his worksheet, since when he tries to open the Visual Basic Editor the project appears empty. How to explain this behaviour? Are there some setting I can change in Excel or this is depending on something "external" (ex. a firewall that deletes all macros..) thank you, Matteo |
