Recalculating Cells error (and more)

First, I would like to say that you people are great. I just found this
news group and I can see that I will be spending a lot of reading this
group.

Now, occasionally excel will crash on me while closing a file or saving
it after using a user form to input data. As this is happening the
status bar will always show "recalculating cells" and the percentage of
completion. (Windows XP & Office XP).

Any ideas on this? It it just a "bad VBA" issue on my part or is the
simply an Excel issue?

And finally, Anybody have any ideas where I can find formulas or code to
assist me in calculating petroleum quantities @ 60 degrees F? I am
currently working on a spreadsheet to help me do my job and I am fairly
new to Excel. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ron M.

Ron

I might be able to assist with this.

I have a workbook I designed for monitoring Bunker C oil tank dips.
Includes temp. correction tables(to 60 deg. F.) along with feet/inches to
barrels conversion.

Calculations based on VLOOKUP tables. Perhaps you would like to peruse to get
some ideas? I can send it to your personal email. 62kb size.
