AutoFilter Dropdown Boxes Missing
 

There have been some posting about this problem, but I've never seen a
cause pinpointed. Dave Peterson suggests a couple of fixes in the

Many times (not every time) when I use AutoFilter on a list, the
dropdowns are not visible. However, when I go to Data, Filter it shows
that the AutoFilter is active.

Sometimes when I close Excel and re-open it corrects the problem.
Other times it doesn't.
