Greater than or equal to (Plus or minus)

Here is my formula.
=IF(Sheet1!J5=$J$4,0,(Sheet1!$J$4-Sheet1!J5)*Sheet1!$J$1)
It is perfect, except it doesn't have one final step. What I need it to do
is be able to do that ONLY if it is greater than or less than by a specified
amount. So there needs to be a modification of ...Sheet!J5< (but by 100 or
any other number that I set) $J$4,...

Thanks so much for the help!

Kind of got lost towards the end on exacly what conditions you're looking
for. As far as the greater than or less than part, try using
OR(Sheet!J5<Amount,Sheet!J5Amount) as your condition. Sorry I don't know
exactly where you wanted that so can't stick it into the formula for you.

Maybe, if you want to check to see if there's a difference of less than 100...

=if(abs(sheet1!$j$5-$j$4)<100,"within a hundred formula","= 100 formula")

You could change that 100 to point at any cell you want.
