converted a column to List yet wants to Validate as well
 

hello community

can anybody kindly help me this problem:

I had already converted a set of columns into a List Format And I also want
to do designate, as an example: that only allow "Buy" or "Sell" as the
valid entries into 1 particular column (in the Converted List Format
Columns) as well ?

Can I do that ?

The DATA menu has a validation choice which in turn allows you to select a
list as valid entries.When you select that cell it appears as a drop down
list and obviously only the items in your list(best somewhere on the same
sheet) will appear in that dropdown and only items from that list(you can
still type em ) are allowed
