Pivot Table: Remove old field cell value
My source data has a column for PRODUCT. When I first built my pivot table
from it certain product names were abbreviated (I have since given them full names). The problem in the pivot table is when the PRODUCT field is moved to the row position the abbreviated and full name both appear as options. Yet when I move PRODUCT to the page field no abbreviations appear. I have rechecked my source data and refreshed the pivot table countless times and cannot get the abbreviated value to go away in the row field. Even removing the field altogether and reinstalling it does not work. Any suggestions? |
