varying column width by row
No, the column width applies to all rows in the column. You could
merge cells, but merged cells cause a lot of problems with copy/paste and sort. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "tamiluchi" wrote in message ... Can I make the column widths in one row different from the other rows? |

You could however give an appearance of differing column widths by
selecting, say B10 and C10, and then: <Format <Cells <Alignment tab, Expand the 'Horizontal' box and click on, "Center Across Selection" Then, you could judiciously place borders around your cells to create the desired display. -- HTH, RD ================================================== === Please keep all correspondence within the Group, so all may benefit! ================================================== === "tamiluchi" wrote in message ...
