Losing count on bottom left hand side when filtering - HELP!!!

I am putting a calculation in a column and copying this down - when I reach a
specific line and copy formula into that cell I lose the number count in the
bottom left hand corner (ie 2 of 154). When I delete the formula from this
cell it then comes back! I also have the same problem in another column - but
immediately. Can see anything different from one line to the other

Can anyone help as I'm going slightly mad!

Losing count on bottom left hand side when filtering - HELP!!!

When using autofilter there is usually a 'number of number' count in the
bottom left hand corner. I am copying a simple formula (=Sum(h2-g2) down the
column. When I get to row 54 the count is still working - if I copy the
formula to row 55 the count stops working and says 'filter mode'

When your list has many formulas, or if a cell in the list is changed
after an AutoFilter has been applied, the Status Bar may show "Filter
Mode" instead of a count of the visible records.

The following MSKB article has information:

The AutoFilter status bar displays the "Filter Mode" message in Excel

And there are a couple of workarounds he
