Formula auditing unavailable

I have been using the "Trace Dependents" on the formula auditing toolbar.
Today these buttons are grey (not an available option). I'm wondering what
caused them to become unavailable. Any thoughts???

I figured it out: Tools -- Options -- View -- Show All Objects.
