How can I remove a calendar object I inserted in a spreadsheet?

I inserted into a spreadsheet a calendar from the list of objects Excel
offers. I need to use the space where the calendar resides but I can neither
move the calendar nor delete it. I can't even select it. I am using Excel
2002.

Hi Buddy,

Go View|Toolbars|Control Toolbox...

Then click on the Design Mode icon (Set square, ruler and pencil).
Then select and delete the calendar control.

How can I remove a calendar object I inserted in a spreadsheet

Hi, Ken
I am using Excel 2007. View is present but for the life of me I cannot find
Toolbars or Control Toolbox. Someone suggested Design Mode, but I have no
idea what that is.

I have this large clip art object which is not visible on the spreadsheet,
but only appears in the Print preview, obscuring a lot of data.

Please tell me how to rid my life of this mobster.
