Pasting from Word to Excel - Urgent

Hi all,

A simple query I hope.

I need to turn 30 pages of address label text in word, into mail merge
cells. If I copy the document and past into excel the fields paste
vertically, but is it possible to paste across. I am aware of
delimiters but they only seem to work when there is a space or comma,
and there isnt in this example.

thanks

Andrew

I don't know if this works, but once you've copied your address, try
Paste Special Transpose.

Alternatively, paste the data in so it initially goes in vertically,
then copy it within the Excel document and do the same Paste Special
Transpose operation.

HTH,

Samuel T

Nope - the first option won't work. The second might still...
