I am using a worksheet to track issues and resolutions. For each issue
I may have many responces. What I would like to do is have each
responce to start from the left in the same cell. I cannot seem to
find the format for this however I have seen this done. For example
cell A1 would have the issue and cell A2 would show both lines in one
cell.

1 01/01 discussed with Bob working on a new date
01/15 Bob delivered a new template

Any ideas on how to format a cell to do this or a function would be
great

If you use ALT/Enter at the end of the first part of txt will give you a line
break in the cell.

I think you should re-consider what you propose.

One of these days you will want to sort by date, issue or response.

Having all in same cell will make that difficult.

Having said that........................

To have two lines in same cell, type first line the hit ALT + ENTER then type
second line and ENTER.
