Imported objects

Hi
When a file is imported into Excel from another package it imports a lot of
"invisible" objects that make the file very large. There are quite a lot of
changes to be made to the file anyway which I am sorting out in VBA, but I
don't know a way of quickly selecting and deleting all the objects in a file
other than the manual way. Does anyone know how this can be done? Many
thanks.
