How do I create an option button?
I've searched through Excel Help, and read the various posts to the
discussion group about this, but I obviously don't know as much as I thought I did about Excel. In most of the posts, the user has already created option buttons and needs help with formatting them. I have a spreadsheet on which there are some columns in which I simply wish to answer Yes or No. How do I create what I think are called option buttons, so all I have to do is click on a drop down list that gives me a Yes or No option, rather than typing either Yes or No manually? Thanks for any help you can give me. |

If you want a dropdown, try Data|Validation.
You can find lots of tips for Data|Validation at Debra Dalgleish's site: http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal01.html Regulator wrote: I've searched through Excel Help, and read the various posts to the discussion group about this, but I obviously don't know as much as I thought I did about Excel. You could employ Data Validation Drop-downs with Yes or No as the only options.
