If what you mean is that the line you put into your subject line does
not work as a cell formula, then you're right. It's so truncated that
one can't tell what it is you're trying to do, but among other things
the parenthesis aren't right. You need a second paren after the IF and
some closing parens somewhere off to the right.

It's a lot easier if you use your message body to communicate your
problem, rather than trying to save money (?) by using just the subject
line...
