Using Graphics in Excel sheet Headers & Footers

I use Excel 97 for Performance Reporting in a Contact Centre, and want to
'brand' my reports by inserting our company logo into the sheet headers
and/or footers.
I can't see an easy way to do this, any help appreciated.

Before Excel 2002 there was no provision for inserting graphics into
headers/footers.

The workaround for 97 was to...........

1. Turn your logo into a font, which is difficult.

or

2. Insert your logo into row 1 and make the row height fit the graphic then
under FilePage SetupShee enter row 1 in "Rows to repeat at top"

or

3. Print the graphic using MSWord (or another application) and then print your
worksheet on top of that sheet of paper.

Thanks Gord, although I was hoping this was not the case! I'll have to wait
for my company to upgrade soon.

Gord:

How do you turn a logo into a font? Is there a way to make Windows think
it's part of a font family like webdings or something? If so, how?

I unfortunately work an old version of Excel (97), so this "font" choice
might work for me to insert our co. logo into header. I have co. logo in
..eps, .tif, jpg graphics image files, and I can get my hands on the native
file, done in Illustrator I think.

Guidance would be appreaciated.

The first step on turning a logo into a font would be to search the Internet for
an application that can do that job.

The second step would be the actual use of that application to convert your logo
to a font.

For $9.95 and next day delivery you can get your logo converted on-line.

Personally I would go with option 3 or 2
