Naming Columns & rows
I have a fuel tracking spreadsheet that has imperial measurements on one page
and formulas to convert to metric on the next with price conversions. i have multiple columns that all have the first cell of each with a label describing whats below. an example is column A is how many gallons purchased per fueling. well cell A1 says Total Gallons. the question i would like to ask is can i relable where it says A to total gallons? the reason i ask is because i cant apply the formulas to the entire collum because of the text inputs at the top. i cant apply the formulas to cells with no inputs yet because it skews averages & messes up formulas on the other page. it also makes it a pain for the graphs i have for the same reasons, if i input the entire column it adds the text for the 0,0 mark & if i do further cells it compresses the graph more than i'd like (with no data). thanks in advance =) |

You can modify your formulas to take the ranges from row 2 to 65536, if you need... -- Hope I helped you. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Ciao Franz Verga from Italy |

is there a way to get excel to not count the cells that have no data in
subsiquent formulas that depend on the data thats in these cells? "Franz Verga" wrote: No, there is no way to put a label where there is the column letter.
