Hi all,
What is the use of the Inser | Name Label command? I have searched through help but it is not really helpful. Thanks a lot. Frederick Chow Hong Kong |

hi, you can use it as a reference on formulas eg.
you set the name JunProfit to the cell b10 where you have the June profit, so you can use it on the formulas eg. =JunPrift/b1. you also could set a name for a group of cells (range). In Excel HELP, search for "About labels and names in formulas" for further information. Note: By default, Excel does not recognize labels in formulas. To use labels in formulas, click Options on the Tools menu, and then click the Calculation tab. Under Workbook options, select the Accept labels in formulas check box. Labels are similar to Names, but different. Labels can only be used on the sheet in which they appear, names can be on any sheet in the workbook.
