I sell on eBay and when I have to download my offerings the Item IDs come
back in 9 to 10 digit numbers and are put in excel cells. Excel puts these number into exponents that for some reason I cannot get to show up in their original form ( their full length) Can someone tell me how to format the cells so that the numbers show up in their non exponential form |

Are the cells formatted as General?
Have you tried making the columns wider? A General formatted cell that's too narrow to display the contained number can be displayed in any of 3 forms. Much too narrow = #### Make slightly wider = 1.23E+08 Make wider still = 123456789 -- HTH, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "dick" wrote in message ... I think I have it Your last response helped. I formatted the cells under
the "custom" formatting. Then I chose 0. It converted all the exponentials to there normal lengths Thanks again for your helping me out with this "RagDyeR" wrote: Try *Pre*formatting the cells as "Text". -- Regards, RD ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the Group, so all may benefit ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------- "dick" wrote in message ...
