Default exponential numbers in cells

I sell on eBay and when I have to download my offerings the Item IDs come
back in 9 to 10 digit numbers and are put in excel cells. Excel puts these
number into exponents that for some reason I cannot get to show up in their
original form ( their full length)
Can someone tell me how to format the cells so that the numbers show up in
their non exponential form

Are the cells formatted as General?

Have you tried making the columns wider?

A General formatted cell that's too narrow to display the contained number
can be displayed in any of 3 forms.
Much too narrow = ####
Make slightly wider = 1.23E+08
Make wider still = 123456789

Try *Pre*formatting the cells as "Text".

I think I have it Your last response helped. I formatted the cells under
the "custom" formatting. Then I chose 0. It converted all the exponentials
to there normal lengths
Thanks again for your helping me out with this
