'Insert'....'symbol'
You get more info by clicking on excel help and then searching for bullets. "mike_vr" wrote: Hi, Quick question... is it possible to get bullet points in Excel? Thanks, Mike |

Hey Tim,
Tried the help function first, but nothing came up for bullet points. So then tried your way, but I don't have the 'symbol' option on my insert menu. Am I missing something here. BTW I'm using Excel 97, does that make a difference? Thanks, Mike "tim m" wrote: 'Insert'....'symbol' You get more info by clicking on excel help and then searching for bullets. It might perhaps be a feature of 2003 which is what I have. (Also, I wasn't
meaning to be critical with my comment about help but when I looked at my post again it may have seemed that way.) Not sure what else to suggest, perhaps you could fudge something by chosing a thick font and bolding a dash or something. Hi,
If you hold down the "ALT" key and then type in 0149 using the numbers on the key pad you will get a square bullet works in 2000 onwards but not 100% sure in Excel 97. Tomos. Bullets in Excel
Hi Tim
I have excel 2000 and when I look under "insert" there is no "symbol" there. Is it under something else? Also, when I type "bullets" in Help, I get nothing remotely resembling information about bullets, lol. I find it difficult to find the info I need in Excel help. It's there somewhere, you just have to know their jargon, I guess. I just go to the drawing toolbar, pick a shape, change the size to about 0.1 (be sure to check the "lock aspect ratio") and I get a bullet. It's a pain, I'm sure there's a better way (which is why I'm looking here, hehe). "tim m" wrote: 'Insert'....'symbol' You get more info by clicking on excel help and then searching for bullets.
