Filtering spreadsheets

How do I filter a spreadsheet to only show me certain rows that I like. For
example I have 1000 rows of data, and each row is assigned a category A, B or
C (assigned in Column C), how do I view only those rows that either a
category A, B or C??

Filtering spreadsheets

Go to menu:
DataFilterAuto Filter...
in Column C (cell C1), select the Category you want from the drop down list

To Un-filter:
DataFilterShow All

Hi Andre,

Selected the title of all columns on the menu click on DATA | AUTOFILTER
excel will show an arrow on the right side of the cells that you have selected

click on the arrow of the column that you looks to filter choose the option
