How do I turn on Auto Filter?? It is grayed out.

I would like to filter on the various items listed in a column, but when I go
to filter, the Auto Filter is grayed out. I have used Auto Filter on other
spreadsheets, but this one I can't get it to be available.

The sheet must be protected. Go to Tools/Protection/Unprotect Sheet. Try it
first without a password. This should then allow you to use filter.

If a password is required the person who created the spreadsheet would have
to inform you of this.

Sheet is Protected?

You have two or more sheets selected(grouped)?

Either of these will prevent Autofiltering.

I have unprotected my worksheet and still have the auto filter option greyed.
How else can I activate the auto filter.

How about the multiple sheets selected?

Did you check for that?

I have no other ideas right now.
