New data automatically duplicates itself when file reopened.
 
New data entered into an Excel spreadsheet one day automatically duplicates
itself when the file is opened the next day. Only new entries are affected;
adjustments to older entries are not affected.

Please provide more information.

Where does it "duplicate". What is the layout of your spreadsheet. Formulas,
VBA, etc.
