Default Extracting Information from A Pivot Table

I Have a Pivot Table that I would like to

Give a count of pieces by:

Having the date(s) in the Date Column equal a certain date, Example
1-Jan-06,If that conditon is met, then

Having the Mode of Transport Column equal " MC" if that condition is met,
then

In the Piece Count Column, adding the number of pieces that meet the above
criteria and then giving me a total in a cell.

Thanks,
