How can I format tcp/ip addresses in Excel?
Is there a template or custom format out there somewhere (I'm an obvious
Excel rookie)? I have searched and am now officially blue-in-the-face. I would like to be able to format a column to tak the ip address and sort, filter, etc. Some networking genius must have done this at some time. Thanks in advance for pointers! |

If you enter each IP address as 12 digits--no dots at all, you can give the
column a custom format of: 000\.000\.000\.000 Remember, you'll have to enter the IP address as: 012013001003 to see 012.013.001.003 JimB wrote: Is there a template or custom format out there somewhere (I'm an obvious Excel rookie)?
