Hi guy's' I am the maintenance coordinator for a non-profit housing coop, we
manage 15 properties and I am looking to have a spreadsheet where I can list
all the properties individually on a seperate worksheet with information on
work carried out, by whom,the cost and the projection of future mantenance
required, with perhaps a main index listing all the properties and tenants.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Regards Ron Porter

Hi Ron

Whilst I would be inclined to have one sheet with a list of all Property
Names with columns for Owner, Address, Contact details etc. I think I
would put all works carried out or to be carried out, on one single
sheet, not on a sheet per property.

If you make one column on this sheet Property name, then by using
DataFilterAutofilter, you can quickly bring up all items relating to a
given property, but equally it then becomes easy to get a list of all
items across all properties for any given time frame, or by any
individual contractor etc.

I think I would have headings like Property, Due Date, Completed Date,
Contractor, Type of Work, Cost etc.

If you start listing things on separate sheets, you will make life more
difficult for yourself.
