how to calculate an rate per minute

Hi, im having an absolute nightmare with this so any feedback would be
fantastic

I need to enter a formula to calculate a column with hh:mm:ss
(formatted for TIME) against a minute rate. So 00:00:30 at 20p a minute
would be 10p - help!

thnx

Zygan

how to calculate an rate per minute

try this
where A1 = 20
20 equalling your 20p dont put p or formula wont work
then you can change it also so if it become 30p that will change the
outcome
and
A2 = time

A1/60 divids into seonds
* A2 seond multiplied by the time
= your answer

=(A1/60)*A2
