Converting Text String to Separate Numbers
I copied some information from a website directly into Excel. However, all the numbers are included in one cell as a text string. How do I get each data element into a separate field in Excel and do this so the numbers are recognized as number. Examples of the text strings are listed below: Sep11 393 DENVER -4.5 -6 -5 -6 -4 -6 01:00 394 MIAMI 38.5 37 38.5 37 37 -- Cincy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cincy's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=35172 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=549388 |
