Copying visible cells only on a protected worksheet
 

I am working on a spreasheet that needs to be protected to block access to
certain cells and at the same time allow users to copy visible only cells in
a specific range (the cells in this range are not protected). The problem I
am having is once the worksheet is protected, edit, go to, special is no
longer available (it is greyed out).

Is there any way to work around this?
