Pivot Table Formula
Hi All
My pivot table has the columns Year, Category and Location. In the Year field I am filtering everything below 2002. I get the desired result and the numbers are correct but the rows are being sorted by year. Is there a way of creating a formula so I can filter on Year without adding the field to the pivot table columns? That way the data would be filtered without adding the field to the pivot. Hope that made sense. Would appreciate any assistance. TIA - H |
Pivot Table Formula
I suggest filtering your original data for everything below 2002 first. Then
copy the filtered data to a new location. From there create your pivot table based on the new data range. That way you don't need to bother with the year column at all. -Simon "Hardip" wrote: Hi All My pivot table has the columns Year, Category and Location.
