Customise the location of the header and footer of excel
 

Hi all,

i was wondering if it was possible to customise the location of the header
and footer in excel file.

What i would like to do is to shift the left and right footer location
inwards towards the middle of the page. I have tried the manual way of
spacing the words but there is a limit of 255 chars for the footer and
header.

Does anyone have a solution to this ?

You can set where you'd like the Header/Footer to appear by:
FILE PAGE SETUP HEADER/FOOTER then select either CUSTOM HEADER or CUSTOM
FOOTER. There are text boxes in there for where you'd like the Header/Footer
to appear - left, center, right.

No way except for padding with spaces as you are doing.
