I need multiple header rows
Does anyone know how I can have two header rows? So that when I sort using "data sort" I can easily ignore the first 2 rows from my data range. I need multiple header rows
Split your screen between rows 1 and 2, then freeze them. Highlight row 3 to the end. Sort your data (you will have to use "No Headers" option. -- bgeier ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bgeier's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=12822 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=547559 |
I need multiple header rows
The freeze panes option freezes the rows OK but they are still sorted by the data sort option. Any other ideas? -- PaoloScaglioni ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PaoloScaglioni's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=35020 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=547559 |
I need multiple header rows
I just tried this again on my machine (WinXP, XL2003) and it worked. When you selected your data did you make sure your header rows were NOT selected? Also, I was wrong before about not being able to use header rows, you can still use the header row option. -- bgeier ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bgeier's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=12822 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=547559 |
