Weekday
In Cell B1 I have the date 5/26/2006 (this date was input by using the
shortcut "ctrl colon") In Cell A1I want the return to be Friday. and then be able to copy that so when I enter the date on the next line it will weekday will automatically populate. I entered a formula - TEXT("5/25/2006", "DDDD") which works however i have to manually put in the 5/25/2006 I can not click B1. Hope I explained this well enough thanks -- Message posted via OfficeKB.com http://www.officekb.com/Uwe/Forums.a...excel/200605/1 |

You could also format cell B1 as DDDD MM/DD/AAAA HTH -- AP "Darts via OfficeKB.com" <u19990@uwe a écrit dans le message de news: 60d2f7f64014f@uwe...
