auto format problems
I am trying to track groups of kittens born at our shelter in excel. When
born, each kitten is given a letter, a number, and then they year so, the first kitten of the first litter this year is A1-06, the second one in that litter is A2-06, etc. The next litter would be B1-06, etc. Anyway, when we put those ID's into excel, excel automatically changes it into something that looks more like hebrew or some other non-english alphabet. I know there is something in excel that I can change to fix that problem, but I can't for the life of me remember where or what it is! Please please help. |

Put a ' sign in front of the number.
