inserting zero

Hi,

select the cells you want to add the zero in front, right-click
-format cells-custom- type in "0"0 for the custom format.

inserting zero

It depends what you need

If you format the cell custom 00000000000 it will insert a 0 at the
front of the cell. If it needs to be dragged down, you need to slect 2
cells to make it increment

Otherwise in another cell
="0"&a1
It can then be selected and copied on top of itself as values, but it
will be text

Regards

Dav
