is there a limit to the number of rows the filter can handle?
I have and Excel spread sheet w/ 12000+ rows of data. With common data on
many of the rows. Is there a limit to the Filter? I'm not picking up all the data. I have tried turning off the filter, save, and turning the column filter back on. |

The AutoFilter will only display the first 1000 unique values in your range.
It will still filter all data, but only 1000 unique values will show up on the drop-down list. Although not ideal, you can use the "Custom" option to find values that don't appear. Hi hungatep. Take a look at Debra Dalgleish's site. It shows how to filter
more than 1,000 items in a column. http://www.contextures.com/xlautofilter02.html#Limits. -- Sincerely, Michael Colvin "hungatep" wrote: I have and Excel spread sheet w/ 12000+ rows of data.
