Pivot Table Question
Hi folks,
This should be easy but I can't seem to get Excel to do it. I have an input file with 5 columns Date Branch Count Of Calls Fixed in Target Count Of Total Calls Percentage Of Calls Fixed In Target I convert to a pivot table and put the 3 number fields into the Data block. Date forms the Columns Branch forms the Rows For individual records its shows fine, but for Totals and Sub Totals the percentages are all wrong. It is doing a sum of the percentages rather than a percentage of the sums. Just can't figure out how to make it work correctly Can anyone help? TIA Derek |
Pivot Table Question
Derek,
On the field in question that show the sum of percentages. Right click and select "Feild Settings" in that dialog you want to select percentage from the drop down menu. I think that's what you need. Not sure... good luck. "Derek" wrote: Hi folks, This should be easy but I can't seem to get Excel to do it. I have tried that but it still doesn't add up correctly.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the way I am setting up the Pivot Table. I've tried attaching the spreadsheet, can you see anything that is obviously wrong?
